Blackpink’s Jisoo Signs With WME for Worldwide Representation
Jisoo, the singer and actor best known as a member of K-pop group Blackpink, has signed with talent agency WME, which will represent her worldwide.
The deal comes as Jisoo builds out her solo music career. Last week she released “Addicted,” a moody dance-pop number about being powerless against attraction. The track has hit the top of iTunes Top Songs charts across 28 regions and also led the iTunes Worldwide Songs chart.
“Addicted” is the follow-up to “Click,” which was billed as her first pre-album single. That song, a pop track, centers on two people from very different backgrounds who find their way to each other.
Jisoo has also kept busy outside the recording studio in 2026. Earlier this year she completed Blackpink’s Deadline World Tour, a sold-out run that played stadiums across North America, Europe and Asia. She headlined “Boyfriend on Demand,” a Netflix rom-com series that debuted in March, and made her first Met Gala appearance in May. She also teamed with Off-White and Pokémon on brand collaborations.
Jisoo first went solo in 2023 with her debut EP “Me,” which set a South Korean benchmark as the first record by a female soloist there to top 1 million in sales. Its breakout single “Flower” climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 and went one better on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, where it hit No. 1. The music video drew the biggest 24-hour audience of any K-pop video released that year.
She followed with the 2025 mini album “Amortage,” featuring the tracks “Earthquake” and “Your Love.” Last year she also released “Eyes Closed,” a collaboration with Zayn that became her second solo release to crack the Top 10 of Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart. The song also charted at No. 20 on the Global 200, while on the Hot 100 it peaked at No. 72.
WME’s music division counts Adele, Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Olivia Rodrigo, Rihanna, Shakira and The Weeknd among its clients.
