Inde Navarrette’s ‘SNL’ Episode Hits Season High of 5.2 Million Viewers
Inde Navarrette‘s hot streak isn’t ending anytime soon. The “Obsession” star brought “Saturday Night Live” its biggest audience of the season thus far as the host of the Halloween episode, which hit 5.2 million viewers.
Not only does that put Navarrette above Season 52’s previous hosts — Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson, Dakota Johnson (featuring a cameo from Taylor Swift) and a controversial Shane Gillis — but it’s an impressive showing compared with some of the biggest episodes in recent “SNL” history. During Season 51, only two episodes surpassed 5.2 million viewers, and both featured major stars: Bowen Yang’s final episode as a cast member, which was hosted by Ariana Grande in December 2025 with Cher as musical guest (5.4 million viewers), and the season finale, which was hosted by “SNL” alum Will Ferrell and featured Paul McCartney as musical guest (5.3 million viewers).
Navarrette’s “SNL” episode also had the best performance on Peacock specifically since the Season 51 episode in March that featured Harry Styles as host and musical guest. And among adults age 18-49, it scored the show’s best rating since the November 2024 episode hosted by John Mulaney. Video content from the episode garnered 325 million video views across YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok — a season high.
Navarrette was joined by musical guest Gracie Abrams. The episode also featured Tom Hanks reprising his David S. Pumpkins sketch alongside “SNL” alum Bobby Moynihan.
Up next on Nov. 7, “SNL” will be hosted by Druski with the Strokes as musical guest. On Nov. 14, Mulaney will have his seventh hosting stint alongside Phoebe Bridgers.
