Donna Gigliotti and Mike Farah Elected New Presidents of Producers Guild of America

Donna Gigliotti and Mike Farah have been elected as new presidents of the Producers Guild of America. They will succeed Donald De Line and Stephanie Allain, the guild’s presidents since 2022.

“It is an incredible honor to serve as presidents of the Producers Guild of America at such a pivotal moment for our industry,” said Gigliotti and Farah in a joint statement. “We are deeply grateful to Donald and Stephanie for their leadership and dedication to the Guild, particularly as they helped guide our members through a period of profound change. The PGA has created a community that supports one another and a Mark that validates the work of a producer at the highest level. The PGA is dedicated to embracing new opportunities for producers while maintaining a commitment to the core principles of producing: tenacity, perseverance and dedication to all aspects of the work.”

“Shakespeare in Love” producer Gigliotti was the third woman to win the best picture Oscar and also received best picture nominations for “Hidden Figures,” “Silver Linings Playbook” and “The Reader.”

She served a six-year term on the Board of Governors of the Academy Museum of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where she served as Governance Chair and Finance Chair.

Farah, who worked as Allain’s assistant earlier in his career, has won three Emmy Awards and was Funny or Die’s first producer starting in 2008. His later credits include “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story” and “@fter Midnight.” He recently became an independent producer after nearly two decades at Funny or Die.
