Jack in the Box Gets Official Avengers: Doomsday Meal With Mystery 'Assemble Sauce'
Jack in the Box is getting in on the Avengers hype with an official Doomsday meal.
The Doomsday Dipper Box offer runs from November 5, bringing back some fan-favorite Jack in the Box classics alongside new Avengers-themed dipping sauces and collectibles.
The full meal includes bite-sized popcorn chicken, two mozzarella sticks, two of Jack's famous tacos, seasoned curly fries, and a regular-sized drink. This marks the return of Jack's mozz sticks and popcorn chicken, which are also available to buy separately.
The Doomsday Dipper Meal lets you customize your spread of three Avengers-themed dipping sauces, choosing from a mix of new and existing flavors that have been repackaged for the collaboration.
Avengers: Doomsday dipping sauces
- Assemble Sauce: An all-new mystery sauce just in time for Doomsday meal prepping.
- Mutant Marinara: A returning limited-time marinara dipping sauce.
- Fantastic Buttermilk Ranch: Jack's classic buttermilk ranch sauce.
What exactly can fans expect from the mystery "Assemble Sauce?" We’re not sure, but the promotional image above depicts the new sauce as yellow, potentially pointing to a hot or honey mustard flavor. The images also show off the Dipper Meal’s exclusive packaging, covered in classic Dr. Doom green.
The collaboration extends beyond food as fans can also collect exclusive Doomsday magnets. Each Doomsday Dipper Meal comes with one of eight blind-bagged magnets, which can literally be "assembled" together like a puzzle. The image shows magnets dedicated to Dr. Doom, the Invisible Woman, Gambit, and Thor.
Jack in the Box is no stranger to collaborations, and is currently offering a The Simpsons-themed Treehouse of Horror meal ahead of Halloween. “At Jack in the Box, we don’t just tap into fandoms, we collide them. We bring the worlds people obsess over together with our own unapologetically bold take on craveable food, creating unexpected mashups that are as distinctive as they are delicious,” said Katelyn Zborowski, chief marketing officer of the fast-food chain.
While Marvel isn't shy about its marketing, it's certainly going all-out for Doomsday. Just this past week, the new Avengers movie featured in a collaboration with the MLB, debuting a new preview during the World Series. Dunkin Donuts will also launch its own Marvel collaboration next week, so Avengers fans are quite literally eating good in the lead-up to Doomsday.
