Disney and Columbia Sportswear Expand Partnership With Mickey Mouse ‘Outdoor Club Collection’: Shop the Full Lineup Here
Mickey Mouse is heading to the trail in a new collection from Columbia Sportswear.
Disney has teamed up with the outerwear company for “Mickey’s Outdoor Club” collection, a lineup of fleece, rainwear, T-shirts and accessories “inspired by a classic family road trip,” according to the brand. The collaboration launches Sept. 29 for Columbia Greater Rewards members before opening to the general public on Sept. 30.
Mickey is joined by Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto and Humphrey the Bear throughout the collection, appearing in custom artwork depicting the gang hiking through redwood forests, camping around the fire and generally making the outdoors look considerably more charming than your average weekend in the woods.
The centerpiece is Columbia’s Disney Mickey Ibex Rain Shell, priced at $180 for adults. The waterproof jacket features the brand’s seam-sealed Omni-Tech technology, along with considerably less utilitarian details including stowable Mickey Mouse ears, Mickey-shaped ventilation ports and Disney character artwork lining the interior. Youth and toddler versions are priced at $150 and $145, respectively.
For something cozier, the Disney Half Snap Fleece retails for $90 and comes covered in a custom Mickey & Friends outdoor print. Available in men’s, women’s, youth, toddler and extended sizing, the fleece also features a zippered chest pocket and tiny Mickey silhouettes worked into the snap buttons.
Other pieces include $35 graphic tees featuring the characters on their road trip and a $40 mesh-back ball cap emblazoned with the Mickey’s Outdoor Club logo.
Columbia is also expanding the Disney collaboration into accessories this season. A $40 water bottle sling features a Mickey’s Outdoor Club patch, exterior phone and stash pockets and an adjustable drawcord designed to fit most bottles. A coordinating 32-ounce BPA-free water bottle, featuring Mickey and friends mid-hike, will sell for $25.
The lineup continues several of the playful design elements that have appeared in previous Disney x Columbia releases, including hidden character artwork and Mickey-shaped technical details, while offering styles for adults, kids and toddlers.
Columbia Greater Rewards members will receive first access to the collection online beginning at 7 a.m. PT on Sept. 29. The full collection becomes available to the public at 7 a.m. PT on Sept. 30 through Columbia’s website and select Columbia stores, with select pieces also landing at Disney Store in the U.S. and E.U. and at Disneyland Paris.
