DataSnipper launches Alwin platform for audit and finance workflows
DataSnipper, an agentic automation solutions provider for audit and finance sectors, has launched a new platform called Alwin.
The company said the platform is designed to manage "complete, multi-step audit and finance procedures".
It added that each output is linked to a snip in the source data, every stage is recorded and each conclusion can be traced back to its origin.
Alwin has expanded DataSnipper's agentic automation beyond individual tasks to cover complete procedures.
According to the company, the tool will enable agents to manage multi-step activities spanning evidence collection, verification and reporting, process hundreds of documents and return completed workpapers for review.
The platform is also designed to make agentic work secure.
Conclusions remain connected to source evidence through snips, while users can track changes made by agents and people.
A detailed audit trail supports review and helps ensure completed work remains suitable for review at a later date.
Additionally, Alwin offers company-wide governance tools including an agent library, user permissions and configurable review workflows.
DataSnipper CEO Vidya Peters said: "For years, we have worked alongside audit and finance teams to automate manual work.
"Alwin is the next step: agents can now take on complete procedures, not just individual tasks, while the professional stays in control of the work that requires judgment.
"The future isn't running autonomous audits. It is giving professionals the capacity to do more of the work they trained for, without asking them to give up the evidence, oversight and accountability their work demands."
"DataSnipper launches Alwin platform for audit and finance workflows" was originally created and published by International Accounting Bulletin, a GlobalData owned brand.
