Castlevania's Iconic Soundtrack Gets Its Own Symphony, Brought to Life by a 25-Piece Power Rock Orchestra

Konami is celebrating Castlevania’s 40th birthday with a special symphony that will bring the series’ iconic sounds to fans in Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles.

Fans of the classic game series can expect a tour of its soundtracks all the way from the very first Castlevania title through the modern era, featuring the first-ever live performance of music from the upcoming Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

This symphony, comprised of a 25-piece power rock orchestra, was created by Lambert Jackson productions, and features all-new arrangements and orchestrations from composer Adam Hoskins, the mind behind the viral Undertale: The Determination Symphony World Tour.

Konami confirmed that a few specific tracks will be featured in the show, including Bloody Tears, Vampire Killer, Divine Bloodlines, and Dracula's Castle from Symphony of the Night.

This orchestral concert will take place across three dates in March 2027, which we’ve listed below:

• 13 March: Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, Tokyo
• 14 March: Eventim Apollo, London
• 26 March: Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles

Tickets can be purchased on the event's official website. Tickets for the Los Angeles showing go on sale October 1 at 10 AM PT. Tickets for the London showing go on sale October 1 at 12 PM BST. The pre-sale tickets for the Tokyo showing are lottery-based, and will begin on October 1 at 12 PM JST. General ticket sales for the Tokyo show will go live at a later date.

If you’re familiar with the Castlevania games, you know this symphony is gonna rock. Castlevania famously boasts a signature musical style that has stayed with the games ever since the very first title released in the 80s; popularized by composer Michiru Yamane in Symphony of the Night, Castlevania is known for its fabulous symphonic rock soundtrack and ripping melodies that set it apart from any other franchise in the industry.

This concert is officially licensed by Konami, and it's one of the only Castlevania concerts to get the publisher’s blessing. However, if you’re keen on hearing some of these sounds live to get in the mood for spooky season, you can check out this fabulous 2019 show from the Youth Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, who performed nearly two hours’ worth of the series’ songs with a special performance from Michiru Yamane, herself!
