2026 MTV VMAs Red Carpet: Stella Lefty, Sienna Spiro, Chloe Bailey and More

The 2026 MTV VMAs are in full swing, and music’s biggest stars are showing up and out on the red carpet. 

Hosted by Snoop Dogg, this year’s Video Music Awards promises audiences a jam-packed program, including a performance from Madonna (her first at the show in more than two decades), a Dolly Parton tribute and, of course, the world premiere of Taylor Swift’s “Patient Zero” music video. 2026 also marks the first time the show has returned to Los Angeles since 2017. 

In addition to Madonna and Musgraves, the night’s lineup is set to include performances from LISA, RAYE, Shaboozey, Gunna, Sienna Spiro, GENER8ION and Yung Lean. For RAYE and Sienna Spiro, the performance will be their VMAs debut.  Shaboozey will perform “Cowgirl” and then join Gunna for the first broadcast performance of their collaboration “High Noon,” while LISA will debut her new single “SaWaDiKa” on television. GENER8ION and Yung Lean will premiere “STORM II” onstage. 

Kacey Musgraves will perform the tribute to Parton, making her first appearance on the VMAs stage in five years. She is nominated for best country for “Dry Spell” this year. RAYE, Sombr and Teddy Swims will perform a tribute to George Michael. 34 years since Nirvana first performed at the VMAs in 1992, the band is set to receive this year’s Video Vanguard Award. 

In addition to her video premiere, Swift will also be honored with the inaugural Artist-Director Award. 

The 2026 MTV VMAs air live Sunday, Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.  Learn how to stream the show here.
