I love The Blood of Dawnwalker. Vampires are awesome, and The Blood of Dawnwalker delivers these creatures of the night in a tantalizing RPG that, if anything, has changed my perspective on the genre. That makes every single element of The Blood of Dawnwalker’s world feel equally important. Will you help this vampire huddled away in their shop uncover the truth behind their friends’ murder? Maybe, or maybe not. It’s entirely up to you, and that makes Coen’s story feel personal to you—the player—without making that importance feel like it’s being forced upon you. You decide what feels necessary to do.

Somehow, someway, this actually made me spend more time in the world rather than rush through it. Call it ironic, call it strange, and call it twisted, but that is the case. Despite the more pressing experience, that limit made me fall in love with the world, while the intense For Honor-style combat of directing your attacks and blocks made every fight feel as good as the last.
