The group of actors and showrunners will celebrate the series Goor and Del Tredici have influenced as producers and writers, including “Parks and Recreation,” “30 Rock” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”
Both panels are free (with tickets required) and are taking place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Times Square. Both events are also extensions of the NBC100 programming. The network behind “Saturday Night Live” and “The Office” is celebrating 100 years of storytelling, culminating in a three-hour primetime special on Dec. 10.
Goor and Del Tredici are gearing up to debut their next NBC sitcom, a single-camera workplace comedy starring Jake Johnson as a cynical detective working at a past-its-prime private investigator agency in Hollywood. Johnson is joined by cast members Levy, Langston Kerman, Mary Shalaby and Keith David. Rounding out the ensemble are Spencer Moss, Nelson Franklin, Patrick Gallagher, David Paymer and Wrenn Schmidt. NBC announced it was picking up “Sunset P.I.” to series in May.
The New York Comedy Festival runs from Nov. 6 to 15.
