Netflix Plans Week-Long ‘Beef’ Free Wellness-Centered FYC Events Throughout Los Angeles (EXCLUSIVE)

The characters on “Beef” could sure use this. Right before Emmy Phase 2 voting gets underway, Netflix is embarking on a week of massage, relaxation and wellness events throughout Los Angeles.

Dubbing the event “Beef — Release Your Rage. Feel Your Calm,” the free events will take place from Monday, Aug. 10 through Friday, Aug. 14. (Final Emmy voting begins the following Monday, Aug. 17.)

Participating venues include Pause, which will offer “robot massages”; Heyday, which will share “a complimentary Gua Sha add-on” with any facial; Sunlife Organics’ limited-edition Yogi smoothies; Stagger Coffee’s berry blood orange matcha; and sound bath sessions with The Den Meditation at The London in West Hollywood.

“Inspired by the show’s themes of simmering tension, passive-aggressive spirals and propulsive confrontations, the program invites Angelenos to do the opposite and decompress through curated wellness experiences, self-care moments, refreshing treats, and recovery-focused offerings across Los Angeles,” is how Netflix described the week. “Beef” leads all limited/anthology series at this year’s Emmys, with 16 nominations. That includes outstanding limited or anthology series; lead actress in a limited/anthology/movie (Carey Mulligan); lead actor in a limited/anthology/movie (Oscar Isaac); supporting actress in a limited/anthology/movie (Youn Yuh-jung) and supporting actor in a limited/anthology/movie (Charles Melton). The series also has two directing noms (Lee Sung Jin and Jake Schrier) and one for writing (Lee Sung Jin).
