LL Cool J Announces ‘Rock the Bells: The Residency’ for Las Vegas in Spring 2027
LL Cool J has announced “Rock the Bells: The Residency,” taking over Las Vegas’ Dolby Live at Park MGM next spring.
The veteran rapper will stage 11 shows across May and July 2027. The first run of dates will be May 15, 16, 19, 21 and 22, followed by the concluding batch on July 9, 10, 11, 14, 16 and 17. According to a release, the concerts will be “an electrifying, all-star live experience celebrating the music and moments that shaped generations. Blending immersive storytelling, iconic hits, and special guest performances, brought to life on one stage.”
“Hip-Hop started in a few neighborhoods in New York, and now it belongs to the whole world,” says LL Cool J in a statement. “Along the way it changed rock, R&B, pop, soul, dance music, all of it. Rock The Bells celebrates everybody who was part of that story. This isn’t me doing a show in Vegas. It’s all of us. Artists from different generations and different genres, sharing one stage, for fans who were there at the beginning and kids hearing it for the first time. People from all over the world come to Vegas to celebrate, so this show belongs here.”
“LL Cool J is a true Hip-Hop icon and we’re proud to collaborate with him to debut this groundbreaking, new concept at Dolby Live at Park MGM in 2027,” adds Chris Baldizan, MGM Resorts’ Executive Vice President of Entertainment. “This high-energy production will be an exciting addition to our world-class entertainment lineup and we look forward to celebrating one of the most influential styles of music in the Entertainment Capital of the World.”
Citi/AAdvantage presale begins on October 30 at 10 a.m. PT, while MGM Rewards members, Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers can access presale starting on October 31 at 10 a.m. PT. General on-sale starts on November 2 at 10 a.m. PT. All shows will begin at 8 p.m.
