Billie Eilish Concert Movie ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ Sets Paramount+ Streaming Date
Paramount+ announced “Billie Eilish — Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour (Live)” will premiere Aug. 6 on the streaming service.
The concert movie was released in theaters on May 8 and has grossed $10 million in the United States and Canada to date, plus $27 million worldwide. Eilish co-directed alongside James Cameron.
Filmed during Eilish’s shows on her sold-out headline tour, the project marks her third concert film. The performances were captured at two arenas, one in Manchester, England, and one in Phoenix, Arizona.
The film utilized virtual reality 3D technology in partnership with Meta Platforms and Cameron’s Lightstorm Vision. The result is a concert film that feels more like an experience the audience at home is truly present for.
