Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes: Kim Kardashian as North West, Paris Hilton as Britney Spears and More
Halloween and Hollywood go hand in hand, especially given that most costumes draw inspiration from entertainment.
From iconic movie characters to musicians to pop culture phenomena, the costume references are endless. But celebrities don’t just provide the rest of the world with some of the best costume inspiration; they also give some of the year’s best looks.
Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Lisa Rinna and more have already unveiled their 2026 Halloween costume (or, in some cases, costumes). Below, find some of Variety’s favorites.
-
Janelle Monáe as Amazing Fish Boy
Janelle Monáe didn’t need any inspiration for this year’s look. She created her own original character, “Phish Boy,” and her costume blew the competition out of the water with her hyperrealistic wandering bug eyes and scaly fish skin.

-
Paris Hilton as The Addams Family

-
Kim Kardashian as North West
While the saying usually goes like mother, like daughter, for Kim Kardashian, it’s the other way around. This year, Kardashian dressed as her 13-year-old, North West, whose signature punk-star look made Kardashian’s reference instantly recognizable.
-
Keke Palmer as Janet Jackson
Few celebrities have left as indelible a mark on spooky season as Michael Jackson, and this year, Palmer and her three-year-old son paid tribute to the legendary siblings Michael and Janet in their iconic black-and-white “Scream” music video.
-
Keke Palmer as Frankenstein
For Palmer, the thrills didn’t stop after dressing up as the Jacksons. She also dressed up as her version of “Keke Frankenstein,” writing on social media that “Some Girls Are Born. Others Are Made. A Little Electricity, A Little Experimentation, And A Whole Lot Of Keke. The Monster Has Awakened. Keke Frankenstein. Out Now. Video Coming Soon.”
-
Owen Thiele and Benito Skinner as PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson

-
Chloe Bailey as Meg Griffin
Silver knee-high boots, a jean miniskirt, a pink bra top and a matching wool cap might not seem like much of a costume, unless you’re Chloe Bailey and you designate yourself a”Hot Meg Griffin” from “Family Guy” for Halloween.
